Assist in ensuring the AWT scouts perform to Wildlife Division standards.
Assess how AWT can assist the Ministry of Tourism and natural resources, WD and TANAPA in particular procedures, investigations, arrests, etc.
APPROVAL AND SUPPORT
AWT works alongside Private Sector Wildlife Law Enforcement Units in areas of concern.
PRIVATE SECTOR WILDLIFE TOURISM COMPANIES PRO-ACTIVE CONTRACTS
Cooperative Conflict Resolution – Outline and describe the company, the areas’ needs, desired longevity, background information, concerns and goals.
Supply urgent reaction to poaching crises. i.e. Elephant poaching, fatal or overly aggressive encroachment situations, rhino poaching, threats to staff and client safety.
FOUNDATIONS AND NON-PROFIT CONSERVATION PROJECTS, COMMUNITY BASED CONSERVATION
Areas on village land (WMAs and forest reserves), as well as other important parts of Tanzania’s wildlife estate, including areas where no investors and/or suitably equipped management authority and anti-poaching capacity exists, can also request assistance from AWT.
RESOURCES FOR A SPECIAL FUND
Like minded foundations and not-for-profit partner organizations -from donors and sponsors – to cover the costs of providing the support and operations needed to assist in such areas where the land and resources are genuinely lacking to pay for AWT’s protection services.
Partners for fundraising and coordination and implementation of suitable interventions that meaningfully assist in achieve effective wildlife protection.
UNIVERSITY AND EDUCATIONAL PARTNERS,
Mutually beneficial relationships, including financial support from Universities in exchange for field data, open for educational purposes.
LOCAL EDUCATION PARTNERS
Assist in sharing intelligence and ground operations data at various environmental educational levels.
